The Etheria block definition store with the initializer lock repaired

Frontier EraVerified Source

Historical Significance

Etheria was a world with a map, a terrain and rules about what could be built where, put on chain in 2015 when almost nothing on Ethereum kept state worth looking at. Its author had to solve a problem nobody had a pattern for: the map is too large to write in one transaction and useless until it is complete, so the storage contracts fill themselves in over many calls and lock once the last piece lands. Sealing a contract against its own author is a deliberate commitment, made before immutability was a slogan.

Context

Frontier era deployment by Cyrus Adkisson, the author of Etheria.

Description

The same self locking block shape store as 0x08dbb4cccccf1cfdc4affaeac7632781e67df9fe with two changes: the missing occupiesdone[which] = 1 assignment is restored, so the occupies lock can now engage, and the store holds 32 block types instead of 20. It is the contract the two BlockDefRetriever test contracts of 17 October 2015 call into.
