Description

This contract was deployed at block 733809 on December 23, 2015, by address 0xd3CdA913deB6f67967B99D67aCDFa1712C293601 (Piper Merriam). It was the last of five contracts deployed within minutes of each other, preceded by companion contracts at blocks 733800, 733802, 733805, and 733807. The cluster deployment pattern suggests a coordinated release of multiple interdependent contracts constituting a revised version of the Alarm Clock system.

Piper Merriam described working heavily on the Ethereum Alarm Clock in the year following the September 22, 2015 initial launch, fixing attack vectors and improving the incentive design for third-party executors. The December 23, 2015 deployment, approximately three months after the initial launch, falls within this documented period of intensive iteration.

The contract received five transactions. The deployment transaction at block 733809 was followed by external interactions from different addresses in 2016 and 2017, indicating the contract was actively used as a live service for an extended period after deployment. One transaction in 2017 from address 0x65ae3350d48b suggests the contract was still being referenced long after later versions were available.

The Ethereum Alarm Clock system required multiple interacting contracts: a main scheduler, call contracts for each scheduled transaction, and utility libraries. The simultaneous deployment of five contracts on December 23, 2015 reflects the multi-contract architecture that Merriam had developed to make the scheduling service more robust and modular.
