The Kraken price ticker from the Oraclize examples, put up by Oraclize's own deployment account.
Context
Deployed 11 December 2015, during the Frontier era.
Key Facts
Description
The KrakenPriceTicker example from oraclize/ethereum-examples, deployed by 0x0047a8033cc6d6ca2ed5044674fd421f44884de8, the account Oraclize used for its own contracts. The constructor records the deployer as owner and immediately fires the first query. update asks Oraclize for the URL datasource with the argument json(https://api.kraken.com/0/public/Ticker?pair=ETHXBT).result.XETHXXBT.c.0, which is the last traded ether price against bitcoin on Kraken. __callback throws unless the caller is the Oraclize callback address and otherwise writes the returned string into the public ETHXBT variable, so the price is stored as text rather than as a number. update is callable by anyone and pays for the query out of the contract balance. kill lets the owner self destruct it. The Oraclize contract itself is looked up through the address resolver at 0x1d11e5eae3112dbd44f99266872ff1d07c77dce8 on every call.
