First mineable Bitcoin Cash on Ethereum, EIP-918 clone deployed June 2018
Historical Significance
0xBitcoincash is the first mineable Bitcoin Cash on Ethereum, deployed about four months after 0xBitcoin codified the EIP-918 standard. It is one of more than 130 EIP-918 clones that appeared on Ethereum in 2018, most of which were deployed and never mined.
Context
Deployed in June 2018, four months into the EIP-918 clone wave. By this point the template was well-established: fork 0xBitcoin's verified source, rename to a recognizable crypto brand, and redeploy. The Bitcoin Cash chain itself had only existed since the August 2017 fork from Bitcoin, making this an early cross-chain branding move.

Key Facts
Description
0xBitcoincash is the first mineable Bitcoin Cash–themed token on Ethereum, deployed in June 2018 as part of the EIP-918 clone wave that followed 0xBitcoin. It uses the same proof-of-work mint mechanic as 0xBitcoin: callers submit a nonce, the contract checks whether keccak256(nonce, challenge) falls below the current difficulty target, and valid solutions are rewarded with newly minted tokens.
Like 0xBitcoin and its other clones, 0xBitcoincash launched with no ICO, no airdrop, no premine, and no founder reward — all tokens in circulation are mined.
